Hi! My name is I’Cess Young but everyone calls me Ice. I am from Charlotte, North Carolina and I currently attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte starting my senior year. I am a Communication major with a concentration in Public Relations and a Dance minor. My bubbly personality keeps me on my feet, ready to take on the world.
What do you do at Social Ape Marketing?
I work on the social media content for all Social Ape accounts.
Why are you passionate about marketing?
I am passionate about marketing because storytelling is one of the closest things we have to magic. Helping others tell their stories not only benefits them but also those around them. We are able to share stories that matter in a way that brings people together and show them something they haven’t seen before. Through marketing, we can build that bridge between communication and connection. I love to help people and this gives me the chance to help someone tell their story in a new and creative way.
What do you do in your free time?
I am a photographer and digital designer. When I’m not taking photos, I am at home creating cool new edits for my pictures.
What do you love about Charlotte?
The city always keeps me on my feet. I am a person who loves to explore and find new things to do in the city. Every day, Charlotte gives me something new.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I would love to be a Creative Director or working for a Public Relations agency.
