Hi, I’m Meredith! I am from Hickory, North Carolina, but I have been living in Charlotte for the past four years. I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I stayed extremely involved with many organizations, including Vice President of Women’s Club Volleyball and Head of Fundraising for Delta Zeta. I graduated in 2022 with a Business Administration degree, majoring in Marketing.
What do you do at Social Ape Marketing?
I am a Digital Marketing Specialist. I create content calendars and newsletters weekly for clients. I also create digital ads for clients to promote their businesses and events.
Why are you passionate about marketing?
One of my favorite things about marketing is the creativity that I get to use every day. I am always brainstorming new ideas, which brings variety to my day that helps keep things interesting.
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time, I love to be active. I have played volleyball since I was very small, so I still love to go play in tournaments or pick-up games. If I am not playing volleyball or working out, you can find me at trivia night with my friends.
What do you love about Charlotte?
I love the diversity of Charlotte. Whether that be the diversity of people or the diversity of experiences, there are ways for everyone in Charlotte to fit in and try new things.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I only recently graduated college, so I’d like to say my possibilities are endless. In five years, I see myself continuing to develop my skills and knowledge in marketing while continuing to help the company and clients grow. I would love to continue working in marketing and public relations while remaining fulfilled in my career.
