Savanna is our newest Communications Specialist and will be working closely with clients to help increase their brand awareness through public relations and social media marketing. Hi, I’m Savanna! I’m a Charlotte native and an alumna of Appalachian State University. I hold a BS in Journalism and a BS in Public Relations. I love living in the Queen City and am passionate about supporting local businesses.
What do you do at Social Ape Marketing?
I create and manage content for client social media pages, establish and execute public relations plans and facilitate influencer marketing strategies.
Why are you passionate about marketing or PR?
My love for writing inspired me to pursue a career in the communications industry. After graduating from college, I discovered my passion for supporting small businesses while working in the crowdfunding industry. Sharing the stories of companies and entrepreneurs is a powerful way to connect with the community and help their businesses grow. I am so excited to use my writing and content creation skills to help local companies reach their goals.
What do you do in your free time?
When I’m not exploring Charlotte, you can usually find me taking a barre class or spending time with my friends and family and, of course, my dog. I also enjoy hiking and traveling when I get the chance.
What do you love about Charlotte?
I love watching the city grow! There are always new things to do, new breweries popping up and new restaurants to try.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I see myself continuing to work in public relations and marketing and helping small, local businesses thrive.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I love to cook. I am always trying a new recipe or making my own! I like to discover new flavors and put well-balanced meals together.
