Hi, I’m Brianna! I am a senior at Queens University of Charlotte, pursuing a degree in Marketing. I am from Great Mills, Maryland and came to Charlotte in 2018 for college, but now I don’t plan on leaving the Queen City anytime soon!
What do you do at Social Ape Marketing?
I curate the weekly newsletter and blog posts, while also assisting in making changes to the Social Ape website.
Why are you passionate about marketing?
I am passionate about marketing, specifically social media marketing and content creation, as I see a huge need for it. With social media being so frequently used by a range of age groups, it is very important to know how to market across particular platforms. In addition, every social media platform is different in terms of how you would post and market to target audiences. I love the opportunity to be creative within marketing and help clients achieve their business goals.
What do you do in your free time?
I love to spend time with my sweet pup, McCoy, who always wants to play or head to a dog park to get some energy out. I also love spending time with my friends and finding new spots in Charlotte. If I’m not doing either of those, you can find me at Plantbar where I am probably buying more plants that I don’t necessarily need but have to have.
What do you love about Charlotte?
Being from a small town, I love how much there is to do in Charlotte. I have found so many new places to go and have a running checklist of restaurants I want to try out. In Charlotte, you can never run out of things to do!
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years I see myself working as a content or social media manager for a marketing firm or agency. I love Charlotte so I would like to stay and work in the area for the foreseeable future.
What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
Since moving into my apartment in Charlotte, I have found a love for plants. I frequently go to Plantbar and come home with a new plant almost weekly.
