Hi! I was born and raised in Charlotte and truly love this city even more now that I’m an adult and can appreciate all this city has to offer! I work in Charlotte nightlife on the weekends at SIP Charlotte where I work downstairs VIP. I absolutely love Peloton and enjoy being outdoors as much as possible. I have 2 amazing dogs, Ophelia is my red nose pit mix and Frank is my chorkie (chihuahua and yorkie mix). They were both named after musical influences, Ophelia was named after the Bands’ song “Ophelia” and Frank is named after Frank Sinatra. Music is a huge part of my life. I enjoy going to concerts and music festivals. I am very grateful I get to work VIP for Breakaway Music Festival here in Charlotte. I am 1 of 4 siblings where I fall second oldest. My family is my backbone. 😊
What do you do at Social Ape Marketing?
I am so excited to be the Fall Intern where I can create social media content calendars for Social Ape Marketing clients, update the Social Ape Marketing website as needed, write Social Ape Marketing weekly blog posts and create the weekly newsletter.
Why are you passionate about marketing or PR?
I am drawn to marketing because I love the concept of putting an idea in someone’s mind that wasn’t already there. I think supporting local businesses is so important and creating content is an exciting challenge for me.
What do you do in your free time?
When I have free time I am walking my dogs on the greenway, cycling, shopping online or hanging out with my family and friends.
What do you love about Charlotte?
Charlotte is the perfect mix of a big city small-town vibe that wherever you go, you will know someone but you might also meet someone who just moved here and that is so exciting. Charlotte has amazing sporting events, concerts, breweries and nightlife. I also love when the center city lights up! I also think we are lucky to have Sunday Funday in Charlotte where everyone can go out and enjoy brunch and the weather.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself in digital marketing and hopefully buying a house so my dogs can enjoy a backyard!
What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
My father was head of security for the motivational speaker, Anthony Robbins when I was in elementary school. My dad made a deal with me if I got my black belt in Karate I could go to one of Tony’s speaking events. So in third grade, I received my black belt and flew to Long Beach, California where I got to sit in the front row of the event and walked on fire in front of thousands of people. It was an unbelievable experience for me!
