Instagram has recently beefed up their web browser so users can review their account’s feed, profile, like and comment on posts, and almost every other feature that you can do within the Instagram app. The only exception, though, is that you cannot post photos or videos to the web browser.

However, there’s a workaround for this issue that would allow you to post photos or videos on our Instagram account through your computer. See below for step-by-step instructions on how to do this.

How to Post on Instagram using Google Chrome

This particular method of posting to instagram from a computer requires the use of Google Chrome, if you don’t have the web browset installed, you can do so here. After you’ve opened Chrome, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Instagram.com on a Chrome window.

2.Right-click anywhere blank on the page

3.Select Inspect

4.Select the Toggle Device Toolbar icon

5.After the inspector view changes to the Mobile version, you can select a mobile device from the list by using the Responsive drop-down menu in the top left of the page.

6.Select the Zoom drop-down and click on Fit to Window

7.Post your picture or video!

How to Post on Instagram Using Safari (Apple Devices Only)

1.Open Safari, and from the top menu, select Preferences.

2.Select Advanced.

3.Click the Show Develop menu in menu bar box.

4.Open Instagram.com in a new window

5.From the top menu, select Develop > User Agent > Safari

6.Now you will be browsing through Instagram as the mobile version, and you can upload your photo and video from here.
