Deciding which photos to post to your business’ Instagram account can be difficult. In this post we’ll give you the steps needed to increase your Instagram following as well as build a better-targeted community.

1.

Find your connections on Social Media.

The first step in finding new Instagram followers is to connect with people who follow you on Facebook and Twitter. By going to your Instagram profile you can click the settings button in the top left corner. Then by clicking on the “Find and Invite” tab, you can select your Facebook or Twitter friends. This then allows them to connect with you easily.

 2.

Choose photos that your audience will want to see or be interested in.

This is something that could seem obvious, but can be overlooked. Ask yourself: Who do you want to attract? Who  is your ideal consumer? What interests the people who buy your product or service? For example: A travel company would want to post photos of vacation destinations. A restaurant would share photos of their dishes or draft beer selection. You could also post a picture of happy customers in your store or any new products that consumers would love to know about.

3.

Use #hashtags.

Hashtags are not just for Twitter. To get a better idea of which hashtags are most popular on Instagram, you can look at the Top 100 Tags. By using hashtags you’ll be able to connect with other like-minded people on Instagram. It is better to use specific tags so that you can connect to people who have a similar interest in your business. For example: If you sell cat products online, you could use the hashtag “#cat” and any user searching for this hashtag can easily find your photo and other Instagram photos with the same keyword.

4.

Get the word out.

You don’t just have to limit your photos to Instagram. Set up the app to allow your Twitter and Facebook followers to see the pictures that you’ve posted. This will further increase the number of people that are viewing your picture. (Instagram accounts cannot yet link to Facebook Business Pages.)

5.

Link your web profile on your site

. Include the Instagram icon and link to your profile on your website to encourage website visitors to browse your photos and as well as follow the account.

I am a professional blogger, and I value Instagram a lot. The reason I can say this proudly is because I use https://wizboost.com/ as my Instagram account automation tool. Wizboost is so amazing that I can schedule my posts according to my desired time and I don’t need to be online all day for that too. A mobile-friendly awesome tool for Instagram.
